When a tree died outside my house, I was disappointed that they tried to remove it without notice and tarmac over the payment where the tree stood. I put pressure on my local labour councillors and promises were made to have a new tree planted in its place. After getting a bit of further help from a FH lib dem councillor, the tree was finally replanted. It took more effort than it should but tenacity got me there and the new tree is thriving.
