I live very close to Pearfield Road and heard the helicopter circling almost overhead. I had the backdoors and windows open as it was such a lovely day but closed and locked them when I saw how close the helicopter was. It wouldn't be the first time a burglar has come sprinting across our back gardens during daylight hours. But I've never seen one with a machete.
