London Cycle Challenge is back this year and hopefully a team for SE23 can be formed to enter the competition. You can sign up at: https://cyclechallenge.tfl.gov.uk/

Teams must consist of at least 2 people.

There is also a promotional video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyogC4EaFkM

The Challenge starts this Saturday so sign up and enjoy.

Are you allowed to use the pavements in this challenge?

Cycling on the pavement is not encouraged unless there is a cycle lane there.

Ha ha Perryman - I almost made the same comment in reply but thought better of it!

I'd be happy to get involved but I don't know any "real" people who cycle regularly to form a team with - can we form a team of on-line cyclists who may never have met each other and whose real names we don't know??

Sure, why not, you can form an SE23 team and keep each other updated.

Happy to join a virtual "SE23" team, and record my commute - approx 60 miles a week.
