Hi all,
My partner and I are near future newbie HOPPERS (very excited!)
We're moving on a Sunday and just wondering if the removal guys will be in for some serious trouble trying to find a parking spot? There was plenty of space when we viewed the property during the week, but not sure how busy it gets on weekends... also, am I right in thinking there are no parking restrictions along there??
Thanks!

Welcome welcome welcome
Nice to see new people arriving and being excited, SE23 is a fab place to live. I have no idea about Stondon Road parking though, sorry
It would be nice if people who do have more knowledge than me could say hello and let you know, it's a busy road.

I don't think you will have a problem but if you are worried I would knock on your new neighbours doors and ask to borrow their bins. It is normally a weekday custom in the streets nearer the station but you could get in some weekend practice and it is a good ice breaker.

Hello and welcome to the area! I live on Stondon Park, and though I don't have a car, there is usually space along the road for parking. However... if you are moving this Sunday (June 5th) then there is a Big Lunch party on Riseldine Road, and there are flyers on the cars currently parked there asking for them to be removed for the party on Sunday as the road will be closed to traffic - this will no doubt have a knock on affect for parking on neighbouring roads, of which Stondon Park is one.
Of course you may not be anywhere near Riseldine Rd or moving this Sunday, so it may not be relevant to you!
Hope the move goes well!

Welcome to the area, i have only driven past stondon park on a weekend and it generally seems to have a few spots as long as your not too close to the lights. dependant on what side you are, you will be able to park on the corner of one of the side roads.

Hello new neighbour. I am also on Stondon Park, having just moved there in the last 2months and think it's a great place to live. Ive never had problems parking around numbers 75-83, although as previously mentioned there are a couple of road closures on Sunday. I will be helping your moving situation by being away for the weekend, so there will be at least one car less!
I've been lurking on the forum, yet to post anything, but it seems like its a very nice neighbourhood.
Ryan.

Thank you all for your replies! We are moving on the 26th so hopefully we will be okay in finding a parking space. Very much looking forward to moving to Honor Oak Park, especially if it is as friendly as they respondees to my post!
