London Wildlife Trust is leading two river clean up events in Lewisham on 6th and 7th June.
Join London Wildlife Trust, Quaggy Waterways Action Group and Thames 21 after work and bring all the family for a therapeutic watercourse work out! We will be clearing Himalayan Balsam, an invasive plant threatening the biodiversity of our rivers. Event activities will include learning how to id Himalayan Balsam and removing it from the watercourse, clearing up any litter we find as we go. Wading up the river is very relaxing and a great opportunity to experience the river in a different way.
