I am surprised this has not been mentioned before. 59 years loyal and dignified service as Head of State.
God Bless Her

As this is mainly a local website about Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park, I'm surprised that anyone was surprised there wasn't a mention of the Queen's birthday. Rofl

Dear Admin
I believe a number of posts have been moved. Not sure why ?

In answer to Oryx we mention many subjects completely outside the UK so mentioning our Monarch surely is OK.

It is a tribute to our multicultural society that we continue to make this immigrant family so very welcome here.

Ah, I see you're a fellow-Jacobite, Perryman. Still, they've been here for three hundred years, so I guess we can recognize them de facto if not de jure.

Possibly less immigration than, marriages based on strengthening, political, religious and other motivation in a succession of years gone by when child mortality and interbreeding were the norm; ie Hapsburg Lip, the madness of Russian Tsars (correct if needed on that one) and haemophillia.

Very much up for the Jacobian subplot though xx
