Received from Lewisham Police:

Quote:
Police in Lewisham are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 10-year-old boy.

Chukwuxavier Nwobani-Akanwo (30.07.2002) was last seen at 15:30 hours on Monday 26.11.12 at his school Tidemill Academy, Giffin Street, SE8 when he was picked up by his 18 year old sister.

A recent court ruling gave custody of Chukwuxavier to his father.

The 48 year old mother has been arrested on suspicion of abduction.

The 18 year old sister has since been located but Chukwuxavier remains missing.

Chukwuxavier is black, approx. 5ft 4 - 5ft 7 inches tall, of medium build with short black afro-hair with a single plaited ponytail at back of his head.

He was last seen wearing his school uniform which consists of a white shirt, blue jumper and black trousers.

Anyone who has information on Chukuwuxavier's whereabouts is asked to call Lewisham Missing Person's Unit on 020 8284 8480; or call Missing People on 116 000.
