....
From the hospital, surgery tomorrow lunchtime Scared

So by 1.30 I will be all tucked up in my private room, and by 2.30 it might be me under the knife.

Mixed feelings. Glad its getting done so soon now, but at the same time, in shock that the time has arrived, and I got 17 hours notice! lol

Not complaining though.
Will be back home tomorrow evening if all goes well, and starting the road to recovery.

Which way are you going then? I understand male to female is more successful than the other.

HTG: 'all tucked up' tells you all you need to know.

But seriously Snazy, I hope everything goes well and that you make a speedy recovery.

Well done that person Thumbsup There is a short entry there.
However for those who prefer the simple way.
Im going in for corrective surgery for my tendonitis in my elbow aka tennis elbow.

Routine day surgery, should be out tonight. Never the less I have to say im a little nervous.
Off to the hospital in about an hour or so, then the fun begins.

im back

minor complications last night so was kept in over night.

operation was a success as far as internally goes, lots of dead tissue removed from the joint, and little bleedingwhich is not great. so six holes have been drilled in my bone to cause a bleed to help healing.

pain, well the high dose of morphine last night helpd in some ways. lol

now some slightly weaker pills for home. pain certainly returning now!

so thats me. full recovery expected in 6 months, scar approx 2-2.5 inches

all thats left to say is thank you to all the staff at bmi sloane hospital, they were amazing, and dr houshain for seeing this thru from initial diagnosis to 18 months later and the op. amazing doctor patient skills

Sorry it's not going so well at the moment.

I've seen you walking your dog a couple of times - maybe I'll pluck up the courage to say hello next time!

Oh have you Smile Excellent. The arm explains the wierd walking on the left lead on the right issue though. Cant use my left arm enough to walk him with lead on left. Doh

Where abouts have you seen us? I will look out for the shy person.

A few more Huskies and crosses popping up around FH now too. Did I start a trend? lol.

Arm is annoying the hell out of me at the mo. Might ask to see the specialist again soon.
