Just a quick point to make that i am really pleased the bin-men start a little later on my road now. It goes to show that if you do make abit of a noise about things you can change them.
Thanks to the Perry Vale Councillors for listening and doing something to helpThumbsup

They have been around our way at 715am before. Personally it doesn't bother me as we are generally up anyway and I prefer that they are out of the way rather than hold up rush hour traffic.

Seemingly in central Paris they start a lot earlier!

6.20, God forbid! Lol
Good thing you don't live in Soho!

I do sympathise really, I don't like being woken up either, but rarely get woken by such things. Having the building site next door was fun, I look forward to it all over again.

Glad that you got some satisfaction from your comments though, well done counsillors.

They used to start at 05:45 in our road. When I phoned to complain about they noise they made at that time of the morning I was told that it was impossible because they dont start until 0630. When I persisted I was effectively called a liar.

At a time when we had a young baby I needed all the sleep I could get.

When i spoke to the council about it they said the same thing, which is what prompted me to talk to the local councillors. Hopefully they can do something about the dog poo!

I always thought they were not allowed to start until 7.00 a.m.. But I know that they always have started earlier to get around before the traffic jams up.
