Local "Local Assmemblies" this week

There are three local assemblies in the next few days. Make sure to go along and have your say.


  • Thursday 13 January, 7-9pm - Sydenham
    Naborhood Centre, 44a Sydenham Road, London, SE26 9EZ

    Rescheduled from 2 December, this assembly will get feedback on the Response to Our Lewisham Our Say, progress on Station Approach and public conveniences and an update on Myplace funding for the Youth Centre as well as news about which projects were funded by previous Mayor's and Localities funds. You will also get the opportunity to vote on which projects should be funded by the next Mayor's fund allocation and ask any questions you may have about your area.   • Saturday 15 January, 11:30am – 1:30pm - Crofton Park
    St Hilda's Church Hall, Courtrai Road, SE23 1PL

    Get up to date with local issues in the Crofton Park ward. Agenda should be available before the meeting at http://bit.ly/hKqpbU
  • Monday 17 January, 7:30pm - 9:30pm - Forest Hill
    Sydenham School, Dartmouth road, SE26 4RD

    Topics for discussion will include updates on Forest Hill pools, Horniman Gardens, and the Street Clutter report as well as hearing about projects funded by the Locality Fund. Agenda items include:
    Sydenham School presentation (Sydenham School pupils and staff)
    Our Lewisham Our Say consultation feedback (Cllr Peake)
    Census 2011 presentation (Mike Foley)
    Horniman Gardens update (speaker TBC)
    Forest Hill pools update (Helen Ferguson and Willmott Dixon)
    Street clutter report (officer TBC)
    SNT ward panel update and other community groups updates
  • Residents of Perry Vale will have to wait until Thursday 17 February 2011 for their next assembly.

Not sure what you mean by "Assmemblies" but thank you FHSoc for reminding us.

Crofton Park Assembly has been publicised locally with a flyer stating that "A light lunch will be served at midday."
Say no more!

St Hilda's Church Hall, Courtrai Road, 11.30am to 1.30pm, Sat 15th Jan.

I can confirm that Regeneration Director Malcolm Smith will be attending to take questions on the Street Clutter item and why the council gave such a poor response to the assembly's request for action.
