Is that why they have yellow lines on the platform? So, that people who stayed behind the yellow line wouldn’t be hit by the slam-door? If so, then the yellow line would be at least the width of the widest slam-door?

(This is probably obvious to everyone out there but it ONLY just occurred to me.)
