I'm not so sure. Until reasonably recently I worked in Islington, and just up the road from a 9 screen Vue multiplex is the Screen on the Green. Admitedly it went for a more "serious" type of film, but seemed to be surviving quite well. There are several Screen cinemas dotted around so there may be scope for a Screen on the Hill/Oak
