Anyone know? I came back on it yesterday but it terminated at Lordship Lane which it reckoned as the Horniman Museum stop so everyone was a little cross to say the least. I've heard it doesn't operate too well in snow as it uses the narrow back roads of Dulwich and Herne Hill etc which can be steep and difficult.

Yes it is.....I came used it this evening as no-one on LT seemed to have any idea whether the Overground was running. I came via Stratford on the DLR. At Lewisham, I waited less than 5 mins for the P4 which was running all the way to Brixton. This morning they were running as I caught one from HOP to Lewisham, having given up on both Southern and the Overgound. I really don't understand why, if Southern were running on lines south of New Cross Gate, the Overground was suspended.

Thats interesting about the 185 as the tfl website says the 176 is not coming up to Forest Hill but terminating at Camberwell. I don't really want to struggle in only to have to walk back from Camberwell! If anyone has any more info itd' be helpful. Think I'll wait for more information before trying to get in in any case.

After waiting ages with a group of fellow hopefuls this am opposite HOP station for the Paradise 4 Bus we realised they were on diversion and not able to get up honor oak road, so we all relocated to the bus stop on Brockley Rise!! Please note P4 is diverted and heads towards Brixton via Brockley Rise and the South Circular up Past Wetherspoons. Brrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from not going up the hill, the P4 has almost been running better today than on "normal" days.

I yomped down the hill in my wellies and waited at the stop opposite the Horniman at about 8:30.

Not a single other bus came past, but there were 3 P4's in quick succession. The first was heaving and didn't stop, the second terminated in Dulwich, though the driver was persuaded to go up to North Dulwich, so there was the option of a 37 turning up too, and then the third P4 turned up and the driver allowed everyone to sardine on board. In Brixton just before 9:30.

Left work at 4pm and the P4 arrived within about a minute of my getting to the first Brixton stop. Slight peeve that it still wasn't running up the hill, so had to yomp up the hill, but still home by 10 to 5.

Cup of tea and a cookie, job done!

The P4 saved the day today. Waited at stop before Horniman from 7.40 and got talking to some very nice people. It takes adverse weather conditions or a general crisis before people strike up impromptu conversations with each other at bus stops it seems, but it was very nice to chat and take my mind off the cold. I did wait an hour for a bus and couldn't get on the succession of 185s and a 176..but then out of the snowy whiteness appeared a half empty P4 going all the way to Brixton. Still took me 3 hours in total to get to college but I'm glad I went in.
Am very tired now, but the mulled cider at tonight's pop up bar helped take the edge off the cold. :-)
