More info Free micro-chipping days for pet owners!
RSPCA volunteers and staff will be offering free micro-chipping and neutering vouchers as part of Animal Action Week from 15-17 November in south east London.
Dog and cat owners can take advantage of the three days to be held on the Central Hill Estate in Upper Norwood, SE19 1AH, between 10am and 4pm.
Volunteers and staff will be available to micro-chip pets, hand out neutering vouchers and offer help and advice.
There will also be an information display about responsible pet ownership, said RSPCA Animal Welfare Officer (AWO) Kate Fletcher
The police Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be on hand to offer advice to pet owners.
“You can get the benefits of micro-chipping your pet – namely that he or she can be traced back to you if they are lost or stolen – for free,” said AWO Kate.
“Responsible pet owners neuter their animals to help stop the problem of unwanted kittens and puppies, and vouchers are available for you to have that done too.
“Do come along and take advantage of these offers and you can also ask our staff or volunteers, or the Safer Neighbourhood Team, for advice about pet care, or any other aspects of pet ownership.”
