There appears to be a strange glow in the sky this evening sw of FH. Anyone know what this might be, assuming its not extraterrestrials? I thought it might be Crystal Palace sports centre floodlights but if so they seem a bit powerful. Also heard a few fireworks but perhaps not related to the glow. Interesting!

possibly the floodlights at Kings College Sports Ground on Brockley rise?

It was the other direction unfortunately but I think it was floodlights of some kind - perhaps the sky last night was particularly clear? They were some distance away but quite powerful.

I saw the glow too and thought it might have been Selhurst Park. But looking on the map it's quite far away and Crystal Palace seems more likely. But I can't find any trace of an event at CP that night.
