Hi everyone,
I am doing a lot of research into Taymount Grange. My grandma and 'pa moved into Taymount Grange soon after it was built and lived there throughout WW2. They then purchased a bomb crater a few doors down and built a beautiful south african style bungalow to live in. This was, devastatingly, demolished in the 80s to make way 80's flats on Taymount Rise.

I would be really interested to hear from anyone who lived/s in Taymount Grange living in flat numbers 51 or 61 (we can't remember which) as i'm essentially trying to trace their footsteps as it were.

Also, would love to hear of anyone who remembers the Cape Cottage (bungalow i described) or anyone with nostalgic memories of life in Taymount Rise or the grange, or croft, to share.
