Two Sundays ago I was returning to Honor Oak Park at about 9.30pm. I was at the junction about to turn left into Honor Oak Park from Brockley Rise when I saw a group of 3-4 young boys with hooded tops. They were white, one had a silver chain. That boy was about to hit a tall man who was about to cross over the road by the bus stop and then aborted his blow and the group ran acoss the road and up Brockley Rise towards where I had been in my car. I don't know if this was going to be a mugging or an act of random violence. I thought about reporting it but then thought about how it might sound - nothing actually happened. Does anyone know what one should do in this situation. I felt guilty that maybe this group of feral youths would attack someone else.
