What happened to you doesnt surprise me. About a year ago a friend of mine was mugged for his wallett & an expensive watch. The persons involved were waiting around the Wetherspoons pub and they followed him under the railway tunnell. He was 66 at the time. These were older blacks aged about 18/20 riding on bikes.
Not long after this I was waiting at the 185/365 bus stop next to the Abbey (Now Santander). A group of 4 blacks riding bikes fitting the description of the ones who mugged my mate were hanging around the cashpoint machines.
I sensed they were eyeing me up and decided to walk to William Hills betting shop. Sure enough they followed me but it was obvious they were hoping I went under the station tunnell. When I went into the betting shop they were confused and reacted as though their plan had gone wrong.
In that area they are mainly watching people who go to Santanders cashpoint machines and they wait outside Wetherspoons.
