Road closed outside Forest Hill Station

Hi Every1 im new

Please can someone tell why? I was driving towards forest hill Station this afternoon around 1.20pm along Dartmouth Road and when i got near the station the road has been closed are they doing road works?

There is a sign up near me that warns us that there are Gas Repairs on Dartmouth Road and it will be closed for a while - can't remember if it says how long for

well, not excluding that totally yet, but the sign does not give dates so I suspect it could be this

I think I saw a date on a sign coming down London Road which suggested they were going to be working there for 2 weeks starting today.

They finished early. Dartmouth Road has been reopened.

Shame.
It has been a real pleasure using the out of sequence crossing outside smiths these last few days and not have to worry about traffic from Dartmouth Rd.
