It would be nice to see any photos that you may have.
Wastdale road, had numerous shops, that i remember in the 1950's and 1960's. There was a cycle shop, where I got my first bike from, next door, was a newsagents, where i did a paper round.

I also remember there was also an Archery shop, which I always thought was a funny place to have an Archery shop.

There was a great community in that area.[/i]
