I agree with gemmar and gingernuts observations - it got 1/5 in my Hardens entry for ambience and much higher for food and service. The lighting is OTT while the decor, furniture, even the name and signage font all lend the feel of an inherited establishment. The quality of the food and service are a million miles from the tripe served up by the odd couple at the Orchard and this should be reflected by a strong and independent front of house identity. I suspect this may be an issue of finace.
