I took the dog for a look last night.
Got to Brockley Rise at about 1.30, road closures round Bovil and Whatman, CO19 present. Doing a garden search with the dogs.
CO19 left at speed along with another car, so not sure if they called off the search or found and moved in.
Either way the containment was very relaxed, and all seemed under control.

As annoying as the helicopter can be, I sleep better at night knowing our police have such resources, and no stupid rules prevent them from flying when required

1am ish the chopper was up over Stansted, and Waldram, slowly working its way over towards Wastdale and further to Bovil, Whatman etc.

As for the reason, I never took the time to ask the police I spoke to what was going on lol
