I noticed that the Labour Party managed to recruit over 4000 new members the evening Cameron moved into no 10. Telling or not?

Its early days, but it seems that the coalition are making the usual mistake of new parties in power of trying to do too much at once and forgetting the promises they made pre election. Pic n'mix anyone?
