I am not sure how many times he has attended and do believe he has been ill recently . But as a London MP and if he is fit should be there every day the House is in session.
I used to see Jim at the Catford Beer Festival , which is sadly no more , also the barbers in Dartmouth Rd. Of course not when the House was sitting.

Saturday 24th April : 10am - 12 noon
at Labour Party Office, 43 Sunderland Road, SE23 2PS
No appointments are necessary.

Piglet, a good website doth not maketh a good MP necessarily. Its more a sign of a good webmaster.

Unfortunately election rules make it impossible for us Lewisham West and Pinge to vote for Ann Widdicombe should we ever have the inkling.

I agree re Ann.

If you are an MP who works hard for your constituents then there is no reason why you would not employ the services of a webmaster using your allowances which are funded by the tax payer.

However if you are a bone idle MP who does very little work then there is no point using the services of a webmaster.

If this is reverse psychology, then it is working, as I'm liking Jim Dowd more and more with every post.

Well shzl, it is true I have made an error with a letter in his name but in reality if emails are not delivered they are usually returned to sender as undelivered and that did not occur to mine. Also I would have thought an MP could reply to an email and not expect me to know he would be outside WHSmiths 6 months later during some future election ( when he would be more interested in securing my vote than answering my questions ) so I'm not sure I have learnt much from your advice.

He has replied to my emails. However, I think he usually says that he wants my home address in order to check that I am one of his constituents.
If you do not give him your home address, he may not reply.

I couldn't help but raise an eye brow and roll my eyes as I drove past the constituency office this morning to see a massive red JIM DOWD vinyl sign above the door. What a waste of money.

Surely it would be better to invest such resources in a sign that states what Dowd has achieved over the last five years!

Piglet your squeaking is getting tiresome, its obvious that you have some sort of personal grudge against Jim and do not even have a basic understanding of the Labour Party and how it works. could that be because you are not, to use your quaint phrase, one of the "local Labour Party Folk"?

If you really were a Labour Party Member you would be out delivering
leaflets and supporting the Party you claim to be a member of, instead you spend a lot of time waging a personal campaign against a Labour MP in the middle of an Election, get a life!

Gosh you are really rude Piglet. You haven't to my knowledge actually stated what your issue is with Jim Dowd that you would like him to resolve. Perhaps if you did, you might garner a bit more sympathy. You did mention there was no point in contacting him as Parliament isn't sitting. A constituency MP should assist you regardless of whether Parliament is sitting.
