What's it like to live in Forest Hill?

Hi, thanks for your responses, very useful. I live in Ticehurst at the moment, which is about 30 minutes further on from Tunbridge Wells. If it wasn't for a change in lifestyle I wouldn't move, it's the most fantastic little village, every shop you need, a great pub and a real sense of community. I just want to move it closer to London because I'm addicted to Argentine Tango and it's all "oop there". My son and his girlfriend bought last Autumn in Bromar Road in East Dulwich which is nice, but expensive! I've definitely got Forest Hill and Honor Oak in my sights - just got to sell, sell, sell!
