Last year we went to Hilly Fields and got quite a good view of the fireworks.

Anyone know if there's much view from OTH ?

I think the best view is from Blythe Hill Fields as it is largely open and points out towards Lewisham and Blackheath. We went up to Blythe hill a couple of years ago and it was a really good atmosphere with lots of families and kids out looking for the fireworks, and some bringing their own to the party!
The best thing about seeing the fireworks from Blythe Hill is the quick walk down to the Blythe Hill Tavern, a king of pubs :-)

Isn't the main view from One Tree Hill out towards the city and not east enough to see Blackheath clearly?

If you could see Blackheath fireworks from Blythe Hill Tavern then it truly would be a king of pubs

We went Blythe Hill this year, rather than battling the crowds up at the heath.
Lovely view and no stiff neck lol

Does anyone know if this view is still good for viewing fireworks…. Thinking of bringing my kids along if so as they find an actual firework show scary but would enjoy seeing them far away I think.

There are no Blackheath fireworks this year but Blythe Hill is likely to still be a good vantage point for watching fireworks.
