Hi, I'm new to the forum and am thinking of moving to SE23 as I work in the area. I've seen on the Housing Options website that there is a new development soon to be available for shared ownership in Westbourne Drive and was wondering if anyone had any information about this... Any info greatly received, thanks! Smile[/font]

Dont know too much about the housing options program, but assume the building in question is the one at the Valentine Court end of Westbourne Drive, next to the park, backing onto the school?

Handy location I have to say Smile

Thanks, yes that's the one. As you can see there are no costings as yet so I guess I will just have to wait for a while. Thanks for your help Smile

Im guessing, as they appear to be the direct agent, all you can do is register an interest and make an enquiry. Im sure they will have ball park costings at the very least at the moment.

Look quite nice on the web.
I would say a lot less tha half a mile from the station as they advertise. Not so sure about the parkland they mention, whenever I see it seems to be a haven for doggie pooers.

I had not read the description, but if the park next door is being played up as a bonus, I would be inclined to agree with Brian.
Common land for lazy people who cant be bothered to walk or clean up after their dogs more like.

Not a stinking poop hole, but not somewhere your kids would play.

Thanks to both of you, I had a look at the area recently and yes the so called 'park' is a bit of a dog's toilet! However, I registered an interest so fingers crossed I can afford to live there.
