Forest Hill in a flood plain? Insurance issues.

Probably a few underground streams running down from Horniman's Height's tp Cates ford.
It is no coincidence that the area between Catford and New Beckenham ( following railway line ) is mostly playing fields.

I to am baffled about flooding in SE 23 , subsidense yes , but flooding.
Guess good citizens of Bewdley , Worcester and Shrewsbury would have a good laugh.
