As part of European Mobility Week, London Borough of Lewisham have teamed up with The Ramblers to organise a walk around community gardens/allotments in the Honor Oak/Sydenham area. The theme of the week is Clean Air for All and we hope that by encouraging both walking and an interest in "Grow Your Own", there will be a reduction in the need for motor transport and thereby an improvement in air quality.

We are meeting at Honor Oak Park rail station at midday for a gentle walk lasting about 90 minutes. Depending on the weather, some of the areas may be muddy underfoot so appropriate footwear should be worn. A small goody bag will be given to participants and there will be free refreshments at the end of the walk.

Come along and meet other interested people to share ideas!
