I am not sure what other roads these litter louts park in, other than Church Rise (both ends) and of course Perry Vale by the office....

But is it just me that puts 2 and 2 together when I see their regular stopping points, and the collection and density of litter at these points.
Takeaway boxes, chicken bones, drinks bottles, mass ashtray emptying, and any other junk they wish to dump while they are taking 5 between fares.

At the bottom of Church Rise, by Waldram, the whole road is usually pretty darn clean thanks to the road sweepers, but on the parking bays where the cabs stop, its a disgrace!

Who can be contacted about this. I am sick and tired of it now. The obviously dont live in the street, and would not take kindly to me emptying a KFC in the back of their car.... so what gives them the bloody right to do this!

Dirty scum !

*vented, phew!

They also park on Mayow Road, just past Burghill Road. I haven't noticed much litter, but they do tend to stop very suddenly at that point, either to park, (or double park), or perform a u-turn. All without the use of indicators, of course. It's much worse since the new speed humps and islands went in as they also cause bottle necks (they being the islands and the minicab drivers). Although the road is at its widest where they park, it is at its narrowest just leading up to it, at the junction with Burghill Road. I've seen plenty of people turn out of Burghill Road only to slam on their brakes to avoid rear ending a minicab that has pretty much stopped in the middle of the road.

Snazy, sounds like it might be Forest Hill cars as they are local to you. If so they are LA approved and hence won't want any bad publicity. I suggest you start with them.020 86992001/02082915000.

Cheers Roz.
My plan is to get some pictures in the morning of all the trash there. And then get pics of the drivers as they sit there, dumping stuff.

Then, I intend on reporting it to anyone who will listen, local rags, council etc.

While they may drive for FHC, they are individual motorists at the end of the day, and if they are doing wrong, should be dealt with. I cant see the company having a word making much difference to the behaviour of such people.

Although being an approved and licensed firm I believe they have conditions to adhere to so not worth giving it a go in the first instance?

Possibly I guess, not sure that managing the drivers in such a way would be part of that, but like you say, worth a go.

Just caught the main culprit in the act. When I stopped and looked at the rubbish, then him, I just got an "and WHAT" look from him.

So if you order a minicab from FHC, and it happens to be a light blue VW Passat that turns up, feel free to leave all your rubbish in his car!
Foul little man!

Its ok, I have no plans on calling them anyway. I dont think that speaking to a controller or anything is really going to change much.

Im pretty sure that when the drivers are not carrying passengers, the drivers are not really governed by any particular rules etc.

Might try the PCO route and see what they say about the rules etc.

The 020 82915000 number is in fact correct for FH Cars as well as 020 8291111 however the 02086992001 is the number for Forest Hill Labour Party. Needless to say the latter have never managed to send me a cab on time, nor a takeway, so that explains that then.

The nice roadsweeper has just cleared it all up. Now lets see how long it takes to be trashed (no pun intended) again.
