My daughter attended Dalmain several years ago (she's 22 now and doing a Masters degree). The current headteacher was appointed as deputy while she was there. It was a reasonably good school then with a nice vibe; small enough for everyone to get to know each other.
It has improved further over the years, and an outstanding Ofsted report is not given that often so if you will be in their catchment area, it really would be a good choice.
