I couldn't resist putting this picture of my Gran a punk in 1915 next to Siouxsie...

Was that Michael Troughton (Piers Fletcher Dervish, of Alan B'Stard fame) on the 7.20am from Honor Oak this morning?

Dear Forum Readers,

I think I just saw Elton John's purple helicopter fly in a north westly direction over SE23 about 30 minutes ago.

A friend of mine texted me a few weeks ago to say that he saw Pam Grier driving a Nissan Cherry through Forest Hill. Or at least he thinks it was a Nissan Cherry.

I was on the train back from LB last night and there was a guy with a Stations of the Crass motive on his jacket. Little did I know until checking out this thread how relevant this was to SE23

Well impressed

I know this is very uncool...BUT. Eddie Izzard has had lunch at the Dartmouth Arms--today. Everyone at the pub at Sunday lunch managed to be very cool and not look. My friend thinks he was lunching with his father.

Sooo...Eddie Izzard's father lives in SE23??

Did I see Her Royal Highness Princess Anne in the Jolly Bee chippy last week?

I love this thread!

I don't waste my time celeb spotting on cold train stations as almost every time I set foot in the Foresters on Perry Vale I see a celeb of some sort... Timothy Spall (Harry Potter) watching footie and having a beer, Joe Absolom (Eastenders) chilling out with mates, Rachel McDowell (the bridesmaid in Mamma Mia film!! took me a while to work this one out) hanging out and having a bite to eat.

some pics

Pleased to see that you are still keeping my threads open, although how many times can people say that the guy from Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, lives in HOP?

BBC4 series on flawed comic geniuses - 'Frankie Howerd rather than me than you', actor who plays the doctor who administers meditation to 'cure' him of his rampant homosexuality lives in SE23. Sadly no reference to the name here:

I have seen Eddie Izzard having lunch twice in the dining room of The Dartmouth Arms with his brother and father along with another lady and her child.

I love this thread!
But I suggest that perhaps celebs do not want their home location and favourite haunts plastered all over this website.

In any case, once they have been spotted, you don't get any extra points for spotting them again.

Otherwise keep up the good work, Misty fans.

Agreed. I therefore did NOT see Princess Anne in the Jolly Bee chippy a few weeks ago at about lunch time.

Now that is more than a fair and decent celeb spot.
An extra point if she was on her horse.

Totally agree with you actually but i don't think i'm compromising anyone's privacy by saying i saw him in there.
In any case i doubt the dartmouth is his "favourite" haunt, with their refried chips and stale bacon? Ha ha! Sorry dartmouth Thumbsup

Have chatted to Con O'Neill, star of the new Joe Meek and the Tornados film "Telstar", on the way out of Honor Oak Park station. Lovely bloke.

Also appeared as the solicitor in the 5 part Criminal Justice drama on BBC last year.

Con O'Neill, lovely bloke and fine actor he may be - but he doesn't appear to fancy walking to the station - he leaves his car in Grierson Road and gets a train from HOP...

What time does he do that? I'd like to bump into him accidentally.
