In response to the original post - If your son is planning to go to school in Sept' 10 (born Sep-05 to Aug-06) you are a little late in applying. In Lewisham, the deadline for initial applications was around Feb '10, with parents advised about a month or so ago.

I would suggest you contact Lewisham immediately if this is the intake year for your child. If you are only talking about a nursery place, you would need to contact the school of your choice and add your child to their list. Getting a nursery place does not guarantee a reception place.

The application process itself was very simple, and our son got his into our first choice in SE23 - but we live very close to the school.
