The object is to say hello to ten people during the day. The idea is to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts.

So today I will be saying hello to (in no particular order of conflictedness or otherwise):

Big Julie
Rob Winton
The Bagpuss
Michael
PVP
Blushing Snail
Millesens
Brian
Ana
Andy

Ooh, I?m honoured! Since it?s done in the name of peace, my first hello will be to:

Hill Top General (for no longer making jibes about West Catford)

and then in no particular order:

Calvin
Roz
Sherwood
Admin
Baggy Dave
Baboonery
Mrjamon
Scorpion
and, of course, ToffeeJim

Some of these people I know I know in real life, some I suspect I know, and some I don?t think I know (but you never can tell!).

Thanks ToffeeJim

I thought today was No Music Day?

Is this not just a blatant attempt by the military/industrial complex and their greeting card producing allies to plug the gap between one manufactured event (Halloween) and another (Xmas - i.e. without the Christ)? First it is a simple hello, then next year we will be encouraged to exchange little 'hello' tokens. The following year these will have to be diamond encrusted, and before you know it "hello" will have lost all meaning! Sneaky

I think I will start the counter-campaign right here and now:

"You say hello, and I say goodbye"

Laugh

p.s. hello everyone!

Must be Christmas, it brings out the Scrooge in me, or maybe I'm suffering BaggyDave withdrawal symptoms

A belated hello to everyone, of course

Enough of your agitprop Baggy.

I had a revelation as two gin-scented tears trickled down the side of my nose. I now embrace the Ministry of Love. Come join us.

My word, I feel we all know each other much better now. I will say hello to everyone especially TJ and Calvin. Now can we give BD a big warm group hug. We all love you very much.

We need to have this celebratory drink mentioned elsewhere so that we can say hello face to face. Peace and Love TJ. Might draw the line at hugging baggydave though.

Is BD a little loose at the seams? From this point henceforth, he shall be known as SaggyDave.

Whatever happened to Loneranger? His/her contributions were always informative. I believe his name was meant to be pronounced as Lone Ranger, but I always though of him/her as Loner Anger. ... Well it amused me.

Bring back LonerAnger!

A BELATED Happy "World Hello Day" to all!
I did read this thread a few times yesterday but never got the chance to post myself, until today.
One reason is, I was making a volcano! (bloody school projects! lol)

Thankyou to those of you who named my nick in person (and if you think you may know me, please send me a PM and ask questions if you want LOL)
Regards to EVERYONE On this great Forum. Keep on posting or MAKE THAT FIRST POST!

I wish all of you, a happy, belated day, but, more than that, I wish, ALL of you who post here on the SE23 Forum (or even those of you who lurk AND read posts, all the best!)
This forum is growing MUCH bigger in the past month and a bit and thats great.
If you feel anything inside and need to say something, POST!

Best Wishes, have a great weekend

Sue
