Anyone else been exploring google maps this week?
It seems the google 360deg spy vans visited here last summer.
I hope your gardens were tidy.

Anyway here is my favourite - it is a picture of the much missed Perry Vale pedestrian island.

Pretty dull I guess but it has sentimental value for me.

My house was being re-decorated externally so is clad in scaffolding.
I hope the photos are updated periodically!
Feeling nostalgic, l also had a look at the house I grew up in and my late grandparents' house. Both look rather uncared for-one even has an old bed base lying outside.
Overall, a very disappointing experience for me sadly Sad

Is it illegal to park here?

2008 was a good year for Japanese knotweed:

PS I think you need to have flash installed for these images to show in their full glory.

I did see the googlemobiles once or twice but i can't remember where so maybe i'm on it somewhere but i didn't have the prescence of mind to make a rude gesture.

What could have been happening in Fairlie Gardens to have led to this?

Well not a lot judging from the adjacent images!

A view straight into one of the houses perhaps?

People can ask to have their houses removed. There is a whole resevoir/golf course missing in Nunhead/Honor Oak.

I made it on there whilst walking the dog. Hate being papped. Thank god they blurred out my face as I was looking particularly hideous that day!!
