Hi
I wonder if anyone out there could help me with some research I am undertaking. I am trying to find out about Lordship Lane Hall which was around in the 19th century. I have found a reference to it, but cannot find any info of it whatsover.
Any info, no matter how small would help me!
Thanks

St Thomas Moore Hall, 116 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich London SE22.
Chapel opened 1879. Present church opened 1929.
This was part of the St Thomas Moore School in Bassano Street ( next street ). The Hall was used for the school services, and morning Prayers.
This is now used for hire by many local clubs.
Over fifty years ago I hired the Hall for my wedding reception.
It was not my first choice as it is quite dismal but large.
