I know a long way of but surprised to see this headline. I agree anyone would be better than the person that Stanley should have left in the Congo, but Alan Sugar.??
Thankfully Boris a long reign left .

Whatever about the merits of AS as a candidate or even whether Livingstone was any good - are you seriously suggesting Boris is doing a good job?!

The man is a joke and an embarrassment to London.

I don't particularly have any axe to grind, but I'd say that he's done a lot better than expected - and handled the issues with some of his deputies much better than anyone might have guessed and certainly a lot better than his predecessor did with Lee Jasper - what examples would you give for him being "an embarrassment" and "a joke" exactly?

What has Johnson achieved so far? - well cancelling the tramlink to Crystal Palace, the cross river tram , the western corridor tram, as well as most other public transport schemes. He has tried to claim credit for the East London Line when it was already well under way when he arrived in office. Carried out a rather paranoid vendetta against the bendy bus and commiting London to the resulting cost of replacing these new buses with a new version of the routemaster. As with all Tories , he just doesn't understand public transport. He claimed that there was no excuse for the "mass scive" on 2 Feb when there was no public transport in the capital for us to use. He's also lost a record number of deputies for nefarious reasons. Need I go on? Please, Livingstone was nothing to write home about but there is an awful lot of fond indulgence of his replacement which is serious danger of letting him get away with some pretty disgraceful decisions and failures.
