Well, would you believe it - a strange sound downstairs at 7.10am this morning confirmed a rare sight - POST being delivered on Canonbie.

It wasn't a week's worth, but fair play to the postie, he was out trudging up and down the hill very early, and just as the snow began to fall again....

RE: postbox Canonbie x Netherby - it was emptied Wednesday evening as I saw the van pull up and take stuff out. They often forget to change the tag though...

I had two post vans one postie on foot amd lots of parcels and letters this morningThumbsup

apparently the guys on foot were given a choice but because of health and safety it was a case of "on your own head be it if you fall over"
