I recently discovered rail data from the ORR which shows how many tickets were sold from Forest Hill to the various stations on the National Rail network which makes for interesting reading.

Canada Water had the most tickets sold at 631,000, followed by Whitechapel and then London Bridge.

The top 10 are:

Canada Water
Whitechapel
London Bridge
Shoreditch High Street
Highbury & Islington
New Cross Gate
Tottenham Court Road
Brockley
Farringdon

East Croydon tickets have fallen off a cliff since the loss of direct services, in 2018, 22,000 tickets were sold, in 2024/25 it dropped to 4,869 while West Croydon has 62,244 in comparison.

Data can be checked at https://www.railwaydata.co.uk/odm/gbr/?d...%5B5362%5D
