Man shot dead and two injured in (Wells Park Road, SE26) south-east London

"A man has been shot dead and two people have been injured with gunshot wounds in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Officers were called at 10:10 BST on Sunday to reports of a shooting near Wells Park Road in Sydenham.

They found a man with injuries who died at the scene.

A woman was also found with gunshot injuries to her legs and has been taken to hospital.

Her condition is not believed to be life threatening.

A third person later presented to hospital with what are "believed to be" gunshot injuries, a Met spokesperson said.

No arrests have been made.

Officers are working to identify the man who died and inform his family.

"A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course," a Met spokesperson said."

and at a time when people would be out and about going to church, going for a run etc.

Just after 3pm today I noticed the bottom of Wells Park Road was taped off with a forensics person checking the road, although the incident happened on Dallas Road.
