Hi,
Has anyone else noticed a distinct lack of (letter) Royal Mail deliveries in the past week or two?
I have never not received "anything" for two weeks before, like now, when I am expecting at least 3 important items of mail. Small problem I know, in relation to others, but, wondering if we are headed toward the "disaster" that is similar to the lack of delivery East Dulwich & surrounds has faced for a very long time.
I am near Dartmouth Road SE23 which is on the border with SE26 and very close to the edge of SE22
Regards
Sue

The issue regarding postal deliveries is quite simply they have a lack of staff through sickness, holidays etc.
Those posties still working are trying to cover other rounds. The other day our usual postie explained that she is doing two additional rounds to help try and get post to people.

Ah yes, I did think that could be the case (as I have not seen or heard my regular postie for at least a couple of weeks now) and it was; I had two deliveries yesterday - first one mid morning of 3 letters and then another later in afternoon, around 3pm, of 7 letters (2 important ones I was waiting on plus also, another important one dated the 18th and now, the info it contained is past being of help to me and will need some sorting out There is obviously a backlog). The second delivery was being done by 2 (not known to me) posties. Bless them and am grateful I finally received some mail
