From 12.30-6pm on Sunday Sept 10th The beautiful One Tree Hill Allotments site at Honor Oak will hold its Open Day. There will be tea, cakes, jams, chutneys and other produce; a BBQ and vegan paella; an art trail; guided tours, also of the wildlife refuge and the AFRIL Action for Refugees Allotment; apple pressing with fresh juice and cider to drink; the Note-Orious Community Choir at 2pm and other live music; kids' activities and stalls; a basket weaving workshop, and a found objects drawing workshop; the Magnificent Museum of Curious Crisps ; and an exhibition of wood curiosities. The views from the top of the hill are lovely, but getting there is via narrow paths and occasionally a few steps, so bear that in mind. There will be seating and full access at the bottom of the site where the main tea stall and food area. See you all there! The entrance is on the path from the main road down to Honor Oak Park car park.
