A colleague who used to live at 140 Kilmorie Road in the 1980s has asked if any remembers a man living on the street who claimed to be either of Native American descent or a Native American.

She doesn’t have any other details, except that he was a very pleasant chap.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I remember him as Chief Shilo.
During the drought in 1976 he performed a rain dance and the drought was soon over!

I was walking my dog past his house one evening when a cowboy carrying two revolvers got out of his car and rang the front doorbell.

That’s brilliant, thank you! Don’t suppose you know what happened to him.

I don't know. But I have a friend who lives in Kilmorie Road. I will ask her if she knows anything about him.
