A pool here has been on the cards for ages and I don't think it will affect FH. I think it was intended to replace the Ladywell one, which they would also like to close.

Scary tower blocks. Given that it's a LBL project, I guess it will sail through planning.......

The density of housing on the site is very high, fortunately this site in a very urban location could probably accomodate this density.

Personally I would argue for another 10 floors on each block to provide an extra 100 houses. With the profit from these funding could be provided for other leisure services in Lewisham, beyond the Loampit Vale site. The result of moving the pool from Ladywell to Lewisham will leave the south of the borough, further from a swimming pool. To compensate, additional funding should be provided for a new pool in Forest Hill!
(It won't happen)
