A first world problem I know....
But since lockdown lifted and StDavids coffee shop started selling cooked food again once of my local pleasures on my day off has been popping in there for breakfast and a coffee, sitting downstairs with the open fire on cold days and generally enjoying their 'non-greasy spoon' brunch offering which was fairly priced too.
As I popped in this morning (day off!) on my way to vote looking forward to their lovely toast and jam and coffee I was gutted to be told that since Sunday they no longer have a kitchen and will only be serving cakes and eventually pre- prepared sandwiches .
As I said earlier a first world problem but since we moved here in 2010 StDavids has been our favourite local cafe, The bacon sandwiches served in the 'old' StDavids (before the new people took over) were a real guilty pleasure.
Anyone else as gutted by this news as I am?
