This morning it has been reported that the octagonal raised platform at the peak of One Tree Hill that is a Grade 1 Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation has been desecrated with graffiti.
The platform now provides views over London, originally the platform was built to mount a naval gun that was used used during WW2 to protect London against Zeppelin attacks.
