So since this morning we have been without water, how long can it take TW to actually repair a burst pipe??? but then again how long is a piece if string or how many engineers does it take to turn a spanner on a nut, one to do it, one to watch and and to manage it?????

What is the point of having a text update service if they can't be bothered to update customers, first text at 09.55am, then 12.11pm and since then not a single solitary word from them.

Have they not heard of communication, communication communication or in their case should it be Education, Education, Education, I'll leave you to make your mind up on that

The more people who pester them to get their finger out and fix the burst the better. CALL 0800 316 9800 and quote,

Reported Leak

SE23: Canonbie Road

Sunday midday ish, there was a major leak on the south circular near Horniman (the same kind of area that bursts every few months - presumably a major weak area in the network as they seem to be forever patching up). Hole dug in the road, water pouring out and flowing down the hill towards the Grove Tavern junction. I assume that could be affecting Canonbie Road area.

I can't really comment on TW's 'efficiency' at dealing with these kinds of issue, other than to say it doesn't sound surprising. If you're on twitter you could try chasing them there. Public shaming may be more effective at getting some kind of update.

How far across SE23 are people affected by the break in service, currently at 15 hours and counting???? And is it impacting people further afield outside the postcode?
