Contact: Laura Luckhurst

Items:

1. Funding marketplace
Nine projects are up for funding from our funding pot of £12,500. Come along to visit their stalls, and chat with project volunteers about their plans to improve Perry Vale in 2018/19, before casting your vote.

2. Welcome from the Chair

3. Project pitches
Each project will be given a maximum of 2 minutes to pitch their proposal to the audience.

4. Voting
Individuals who live, work or learn in Perry Vale Ward and are aged 14 or over, are eligible to vote. Collect your voting tokens as you sign in. A funding booklet will contain summary details of the projects bidding for funds and further information on how to cast your vote. You may vote after visiting the stalls, or wait to hear each project’s pitch, after which there will be a further five minutes agenda time to enable everyone to finish casting their votes.

5. Local Democracy Review
Cllr Sakina Sheikh will introduce this item.
The Council has to make tough financial decisions about cuts to public services. Strong local democracy is increasingly important. The Council is asking residents about how the Mayor & Council could:
· enhance their openness and transparency
· increase public involvement in Council decisions
· promote effective decision making.
If you would like to have a say but can’t get to the meeting, go online at : http://www.lewishamdemocracy.com

6. Safer Neighbourhood Team

7. Community Updates
To include feedback from Lark in the park and call for volunteers for the 2019 Lark in the Park event, and an update on the Book Exchange Project.
If you have a community update for the meeting, please inform the Chair at the start of the meeting.

8. Announcement of votes cast and projects funded

9. Feedback and Close
