By way of an announcement, and following private discussions about accepting the result of the Brexit referendum, and not aggravating feelings further, I've been making enquiries about what actions there are available locally for those seeking at least to limit the damage of Brexit.

So - there is an active group in the Lewisham East constituency, Facebook page here

https://www.facebook.com/leweast4europe/

which is organsing its first campaigning day for a while in Lewisham West and Penge, this coming Saturday in Penge High Street

https://www.facebook.com/events/314489372446597/, with Brexometer, Postcards and stickers

It is also the data controler for a GDPR compliant mailing list for all of Bromley and Lewisham, to which you can sign up here

Are they for or against?

Waving the placard with "Brexit - is it worth it?"

and the paired flags of the United Kingdom and European Union is something of a clue!

Against Brexit. It's rather damaging

Ah, I took the meaning of the thread to be that damage limitation was a good goal rather than trying to avoid leaving.

I think remaining minimises the damage

Yes that was the point I was making. Once you start talking about damage limitation you have already admitted defeat. Second referendum is the only good option.
