Has anyone had a garden room, aka a glorified shed, built/installed? I am looking into getting one that could combine being a workroom (with electricity but don't need water), storage for garden tools, but nice enough to be a place to hang out in nice weather. Am I naive in thinking it might be possible to combine these things?

Anyone done something similar? Any advice on good or bad suppliers? Any advice on proofing against mice, rats, foxes...?

Go to Coolings "Green and Pleasant' garden centre and visit the outdoor room section. Burtenshaw make them, it's what we have and they were brilliant.

Ours is quite bespoke, we upgraded the windows, the insulation etc.
